Paramedics resuscitate grandmother (86) using loud Vietnamese YouTube ad

Updated: May 31, 2021

Saigon - Today was an emotional rollercoaster of a Sunday in the Nguyen household, as their beloved granny was brought back to life after suffering a heart attack caused by old age.

Fortunately, despite the fact that her heart had stopped beating for no less than 47 minutes already and that the paramedics all but declared her deceased, a thunderous YouTube ad promoting "some God damned Vietnamese energy drink" literally brought her back from the claws of the afterlife.

According to the official protocol used by paramedics, the last resort after CPR and the defibrillator is starting any YouTube video and just waiting for about 2 minutes for the first ear-splitting Vietnamese ad to play. "I know it's a small shot but by God it's the only shot we got!" said the Vietnamese paramedic in a surprisingly perfect American accent.

According to sources, when the ad started playing, the Nguyen family was delighted to see granny flash back to life like an English Teacher waking up at 8 am for a 7.15 am class on a Saturday morning. The family embraced and instinctively switched over to sign language having realized they have all been rendered deaf by the ridiculously loud YouTube ad.
