Man informs Tinder match from 2014 that dating a "no-go" due to lockdown

Saigon - During the early hours of this morning a local man informed a woman who he had matched with on Tinder in 2014, and who never replied to any of his messages since the match occurred, that due to current restrictions they should probably hold off on any dating plans until the situation "cools down".

The man, seemingly unfazed that the woman has not once responded to any of his messages whatsoever since the match occurred, stated that it is disappointing that she is taking the lockdown restrictions so nonchalantly. "I totally get the whole 'cat and mouse game' when it comes to dating, don't get me wrong. But this is a very crucial request considering the current situation and I would hate her inviting me over for a coffee during lockdown only for me having to decline not only for my, but also her safety so a response would be nice" said the creep.

According to sources the woman, who wishes not to be named out of sheer fear for her life, promptly unmatched the man upon receiving the message at 2.30am this morning. However, attributing this to an obvious glitch in the Tinder platform, he proceeded to find her on Facebook and sent her the same message on Facebook messenger, only to be blocked and reported on this platform too.

At press time the man, while claiming he merely wanted to make sure she received the message, was being escorted out of the petrified woman's workplace and charged with harassment.

The trial begins on Thursday.
