Angola (not in Vietnam)- Shaking his head while staring blankly at the result of his ill-conceived panic-buying spree, a foreigner lamented himself for not buying a single food item. The 24 tubes of toothpaste, 6 identical copies of “rich dad poor dad” and the box of tampons that he did buy however provided little to prepare him for the next few weeks.

While unboxing his new rice-cooker, his idiocy truly started to dawn upon him. “I probably should’ve bought the rice first? Yes probably.” The fool rushed to a local supermarket for the rice. Sadly, however, barring a Guinness world record for the longest time standing in a queue, he returned empty-handed and riceless.
Literally, no food item was bought during the shopping spree, which can be attributed to either an act of lunacy or complete faith in the powers that be. “I sent a request via email regarding the authorities’ keto menu, but have not gotten a reply yet. I’m not worried. I hope they’ll serve cauli-rice, that’s my favorite” stated the idiot.
At press-time, the man finally ordered a food item in the form of a batch of mushrooms. Mixed feelings followed upon realizing that they were of the psychedelic kind.
