African country to manage lockdown by spinning a wheel

Zambolizwe - Earlier this evening, the President of Congbia announced his revolutionary lockdown management plan in the fight against Covid-19.

The plan essentially involves spinning a 4 meter “lucky lockdown wheel” every morning at 6 am. He did admit though, that 6 am could be 8 am or 12 pm considering the “flexible nature” of African time. The spin of the wheel will determine who may go out that day, based on a very complicated system not quite understood yet by the people.

"As an example, should the arrow land on the red segment, people in red shirts would be allowed to go out for that day. Unless of course, they are wearing yellow shorts. Then no. But yellow shorts can be reversed if you wear blue shoes. But then your facemask must, MUST be brown. Otherwise, stay home." He stressed though that they would still have to abide by the curfew which requires them to be home within 48 hours of the spin.

In an effort to lighten the spirit of the country, which totally exists, the President took it upon himself to add some “exciting bonus segments” on the wheel. One of the bonus segments would mean that the whole country will have free data for 24 hours.

At press time the President stated that although nobody in the country owns a laptop, tablet, or phone, "free data is free data".
